Print your own - Pin the Antlers on the Reindeer - only £1.49p

Go to buy our Pin the Antlers on the Reindeer Game and once we've emailed it to you cut out the antlers and fix the reindeer to an easel or a section of wall that is not going to get damaged. Blindfold each child and let them take it in turns to stick the antlers on the reindeers head with blue tack. Draw round each attempt and label it with the child’s name. The closest to the red cross is the winner.

Best Dressed Christmas Character Competition – suggest that the kids come in fancy dress on the party invitations and judge the winner as soon as they have all arrived.

--------------------------------------------------------

Musical Clothes Bag – Fill a Santa Sack with silly clothes glasses, goggles, funny noses, clown noses, wellington boots, fairy wings, antlers, large costume jewellery, oversized mittens and scarves etc. Arrange the children in a circle. Begin the music and pass a Santa hat around. When the music stops the child holding the Santa hat must put it on, close their eyes and pull something out of the sack and put it on. Start the music again, and let the game continue until the sack is empty.

--------------------------------------------------------

Santa Says – exactly the same as ‘Simon Says’ but Santa says an action like ‘Santa says put your hands on your head’. If Santa doesn’t say it and the children still do it they are knocked out of the game until there is a winner.

What’s in the stocking – Place 6 objects inside a large stocking and sew up the opening. The objective of the game is to feel the objects and write down the name of each one within a set time limit. You can divide players into 2 teams to make this more fun.

--------------------------------------------------------

Story time – perfect to calm younger children down for 10 minutes. All you need is a big story book with bright colourful pictures and the ability to read upside down, so that children can see the pictures.

Don’t forget the prizes – medals work well and are fun and inexpensive and a great alternative to sweets. Kids will wear them proudly for days after the party has ended. For younger children, try to make sure every child has won something by the end of the party, so that nobody is left out.
